With a proud history spanning over 150 years, the club plays host to many major events on Local, National and World Championship levels, including the annual Festival of Sails that attracts over 4,000 sailors and 100, 000 visitors over the Australia Day Weekend.

The Royal Geelong Yacht Club boasts excellent facilities and services for members to enjoy the club. Meet old and new friends in our safe and friendly environment. The Marina is unique in that it faces north and the bay views from our bars and lounges are simply the best!

The Ford Discovery Centre in Brougham Street showcases the near- century old association between Geelong and Ford Motor Company. The National Wool Museum celebrates the significance of the wool industry in this region which hails back to the early 1800’s Ten minutes drive out of town is the maritime museum at Osborne House in North Geelong. It was Australia’s first naval college, and served as a submarine base in 1922. Discover the gallery precinct on the Arts and Culture Trail- it reveals a few hidden treasures along the way.
